Anca Balietti

WELCOME!

Hi, I am Anca, an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Hamburg (Germany). Previously, I was Assistant Professor at Heidelberg University and post-doctoral research fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. I received my PhD from the University of Zurich.

I use experimental and quasi-experimental methods to study how individuals, firms, and jurisdictions interact with the environment and how this in turn affects them. My main focus is on environmental public goods, such as air pollution and climate change.
